Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

The Chuzz app and the website at chuzz.app are operated by OFIR JACOBY LTD, company number 516495066, registered at Zamer Hana 1, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel ("Chuzz", "we", "us").

If you do not agree to these terms, please don't use the service.

2. What Chuzz is

Chuzz helps you discover restaurants. You set filters — area, cuisine, dietary needs, atmosphere, timing — and we show you a feed of matching venues with video, photos and practical details.

Chuzz is a discovery service, not a restaurant, a booking agent or a payment processor. When you reserve a table, you contract directly with the restaurant. We are not a party to that arrangement and cannot be responsible for it.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone or create accounts for other people without permission.

You can close your account at any time — see the deletion section of our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

When using Chuzz, you agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights;
• post fake reviews, fake comments, or content designed to mislead people about a venue;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content, or use bots to interact with the service;
• attempt to break, probe or circumvent our security, or access data that isn't yours;
• use Chuzz to advertise or promote a business without our written agreement;
• reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why.

5. Content

Yours

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute it inside the Chuzz service, for as long as you keep it posted. If you delete it, that licence ends, apart from copies already shared by other users or held in routine backups.

Ours

The Chuzz name, logo, app, website, design and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

Restaurants'

Restaurant names, logos, menus and media belong to those businesses and appear with their agreement. Listing a venue does not mean we endorse it.

6. Accuracy of listings

We work to keep restaurant details correct, but opening hours, prices, menus, dress codes and dietary options change — sometimes without notice. Information on Chuzz is provided for guidance.

Always confirm directly with the restaurant if something matters to you — particularly allergies, dietary restrictions, accessibility or whether they're actually open. We cannot be liable for a wasted trip or for reliance on a listing that turned out to be out of date.

7. If you list a restaurant

• You confirm you're authorised to represent the venue.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for keeping them current.
• You grant us the right to display your content, name and marks within Chuzz and in our marketing of the service.
• You must hold all necessary licences and comply with food safety and consumer law.
• Either side can end the listing with reasonable notice.

8. Third-party links and services

Chuzz links out to reservation systems, Google Maps, social profiles and restaurant websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we don't control them or take responsibility for them.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Chuzz running, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may need downtime for maintenance. Chuzz is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those the law requires us to give.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from your dealings with a restaurant. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us during that period, or ILS 500.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Chuzz after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep any rights to bring proceedings in your home courts that local law gives you.
